The Museum of Contemporary Art

MOCA Tucson inspires new ways of thinking through the cultivation, exhibition, and interpretation of contemporary art.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Tucson is a contemporary art museum located in Tucson, Arizona. Established by artists in 1997, MOCA is an important site for art in the Sonoran Desert region and serves as a critical intersection for artists and ideas that are regionally-specific and globally relevant.
MOCA Tucson resides on the ancestral lands of the Tohono O’odham.

Our Location

Bicycles

MOCA is proud to be a League of American Bicyclists recognized Bronze Seal Bicycle Friendly Business! We are conveniently located half a mile from the Santa Cruz River Path, the El Paso + Southwestern Greenway and right off the Cushing bike route providing safe paths to the Museum with bicycle racks out front.

Accessability

Designated accessible parking (with access to a ramp) is available on the south side of McCormick St. in front of MOCA. The entrance ramp is accessed on the east side of the building. MOCA has an accessible restroom in the lobby and all exhibition and lecture spaces are ADA compliant.

Accommodations

Unique among downtown Tucson hotels, the Hotel McCoy offers stylish accommodations at the edge of barrios Menlo Park and Santa Cruz, just a few minutes drive from MOCA. This 1960s mid-century modern art hotel features an onsite art gallery and in-room art, beer and wine, and coffee and tea, all by local and regional artists and vendors. Visitors staying at the Hotel McCoy receive free admission at MOCA.
